Riesling is one of the varieties most characteristic of the area of Naturns, Val venosta, where Franz Pratzner, owner of the Falkenstein Winery, produces its own version of this native variety, considered at the top of the atesina and national expression. Riesling covers about half of the vineyards of the Falkenstein property, which have optimal exposure to the south and a particularly rich in minerals soil. The wines are produced with a setting of Falkenstein wine very similar to the German and are characterized by a particular and unmistakable style, thin, fiery, almost "feline" to the nervous energy and snappy. In particular Riesling is an elegant and complex wine with a final accentuated by hints of minerals and expresses perfectly the border land that generates it and its unique identity.

Vinification and ageing: fermentation for 7-10 weeks at controlled temperature 18 ° C in barrels of acacia wood. Then the wine is aged in the same containers for nine months, before being bottled.
Colour: bright yellow
Bouquet: it opens with a full and intense bouquet, with hints of flowers, enriched with pleasant hints of honey, thyme, citrus.
Taste: it is large and dynamic, fleshy, with a rich texture, with a slight residual sweetness that balances determinated acidity. The wine has delicate aromas of citrus and an elegant and deep final.
