Grapes: Vermentino 100%
Soil: derived from granite weathering, medium mix tending to sandy, machined in the spring and summer.
Altitude: on a hill about 350 meters above sea level.
Training system: vines grown espalier with spurred cordon pruning away the row 120 cm. and 250 cm. between rows, fertilized in the fall with composted organic fertilizer.
After fruit eliminates the excess buds and before veraison becomes a thinning grappoli.Trattamenti spring pesticides with copper salts and sulfur, rarely systemic.
Yield: average production below 70 quintals per hectare.
Vinification: crushing and soft pressing, must cleaning by static decanting, fermentation at controlled temperature (18-20 °) with selected yeasts. After racking the wine is released from the gross lees deposits and undergoes partial malolactic fermentation. Some decanting, filtration, cold sterile bottling.
Colour: Straw yellow with greenish highlights.
Bouquet: long, especially fine.
Taste: full, velvety, with a characteristic varietal aftertaste.
