ROEN is part of the Selezioni Vini d'Autore line of Cantina Tramin, in which the labels are signed, the result of the talent and creativity of the winemaker in combining different grapes and superb and harmonious interpretation of the territory's richness. The name Roen derives from the mountain that protects the Sella vineyards.
Production area: Sella, fraction of Termeno.
Soil: gravelly, calcareous and clayey.
Altitude and exposure: 400-500 a.s.l. The production area covers the eastern and south-eastern slopes of the Roen mountain range.
Yield per hectare: 25 hl/ha
Vinification and ageing: after cutting the shoots in mid-October, the grapes used for this extraordinary wine are dried in the vineyard until the end of November, beginning of December. Elevation and maturation of the wine take place in small French wooden barriques.
Colour: of a beautiful intense golden yellow, almost crystalline limpidity and great consistency.
Bouquet: warm aromas on a honeyed background with intense notes of exotic fruit in syrup, raisins and dried apricots, candied citrus peel, dried fruit, dried roses, ginger and vanilla.
Taste: sweet and velvety in the mouth, explodes with vivacity, maintaining a perfect elegance. A long, refined spiciness concludes the beautiful tasting experience.
