Dry wine slightly spirited, characterized by intense fruity notes, among which stand out the raspberry and berries. It is so named because it was traditionally bottled with the new moon of the month of May. Obtained from a special selection of the best grapes from historic vineyards.
Grapes: 100% Freisa d'Asti
Soil: marl gray blue clay
Altitude and exposure: 320 mt s.l.m .; southwest.
Training system: Guyot
Vinification: every year the best game of the Freisa Cornareto hill, it is vinified separately and bottled in May when the wine has completed its natural cycle of aging. The liveliness of this product is linked to the traditional processing that adds in the autoclave before bottling a bit of sweet wine, thus causing a small alcoholic fermentation that enriches the wine of its typical bubbles
Colour: deep purple
Bouquet: scents of berries, among which prevails the characteristic note of raspberry.
Taste: dry, with a pleasant sour tinge and a faint bitter aftertaste, making it a distinct character product yet easy to drink.
