The Haus Klosterberg Riesling Mosel QbA Trocken Markus Molitor is produced with grapes from different vineyards of the estate, which share the rich slate soils, able to conferring a unique and inimitable minerality.
The color of the capsule indicates the sweetness of the wine: White (dry), Green (off-dry wines), Gold (sweet wines).
Grapes: Riesling 100%
Soil: rocky strata of sandstone with fossil sediments and on slate.
Harvest: end of October
Vinification and ageing: After maceration and gentle pressing, the juice is fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks and in large wooden barrels. The ageing on the lees helps to enrich the fragrance of fruity aromas.
Colour: clear yellow straw.
Bouquet: ripe fruit aromas with vegetable scents.
Taste: intensely fruity with mineral notes; great freshness and acidity.
