Grapes: Croatina 100%
Exposure and altitude: twest, on the crowning of the hill.
Vineyards: sculpted vineyards around the mid-1950s, express levels of full maturity.
Harvest: typical Bonarda from late harvest: the grapes are left over-matured by providing the grapes removed after the first mists. If the vintage is rainy, it renounces this denomination.
Vinification and ageing: steel, without passing through oak barrels.
Colour: brilliant ruby red
Bouquet: intense, fruity with notes of undergrowth (rowanberry and blueberry) and spicy smells (cocoa, black pepper)
Taste: rich, fruity, fresh and slightly tannic.
