From the fortunate meeting between Fiorentino Sandri, a small landowner, and Mario Pojer, winemaker, the Pojer e Sandri winery was born in 1975, destined to make history in the prestigious wine productions of Trentino. Eclectic and enterprising winemakers, fertile inventors of new projects in the Trentino winegrowing world, with their abilities the two masters of wine have produced, over the years, exciting results in many types. Currently the property of Pojer and Sandri boasts several vineyards on the hills of Faedo, where red vines are cultivated, and other vineyards in the locality of Palai, at 700 m altitude, where we can find Chardonnay and Pinot Nero destined for sparkling wines. Starting from the enhancement of vines like the Schiava, the Vin dei Molini and the Muller Thurgau, the two owners were the pioneers of machinery, cultivation methods and winemaking systems that made history, demonstrating an untiring will to innovate and to continuously improve, distinguishing themselves as great example of complicity, friendship, success but above all of oenological excellence. The winery has more than thirty hectares of vines, grown according to the rules of conventional agriculture but treated with the utmost respect for the environment, the ecosystem and the surrounding nature. For this reason they do not use herbicides or desiccants, nor chemical antibotritic treatments, for which they can hapure, precious and natural grapes. In the cellar processing takes place using the most advanced enological technologies, always used in the most profound respect of the ancient territorial traditions.
From the “Zero Infinito", to reserves and sparkling wines, through distillates and grappas, the wines that are born from the Pojer and Sandri cellars, are always of the highest quality, strongly linked and representative of the territory and long-lived as few others.
