Cesarini Sforza Winery was founded in 1974 by the will of some qualified entrepreneurs of Trentino wine, including the Count Lamberto Cesarini Sforza and Giuseppe Andreaus, prominent figure in the production of classic method sparkling wine. Cesarini Sforza dedicates its brand, the Aquila, two of the most famous and noble families of Italy,Cesarini and Sforza, who over the centuries have been unified in a single house, on whose crest stands unchallenged the raptor. In the early seventies under the careful and precise guidance of Giuseppe Andreaus, strong promoter of quality viticulture, Cesarini Sforza began an ambitious program of selection of the best areas of Trentino for the production of grapes chardonnay sparkling base, which will result in the late ninety in "wine project Trentodoc". A skilful oenological research and a strong passion give life to the first sparkling wine in 1976 Cesarini Sforza processed according to the classic method that will allow the company to be known in the world of Trentino and national labels. In 2001 the Group entered La Vis Group allowed Cesarini Sforza to draw on the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The selection of the vineyards is done according to studies of zoning that the winery has made in the late nineties. This has allowed winemakers to upgrade their production lines giving life to the project Tridentvm linking inseparably the Cesarini Sforza to their city, Trento, and to Trentodoc, the doc that contains all the classic method sparkling wines. Tridentvm is an ambitious wine project where only wine of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir located above the 450 m and processed according to sustainable viticulture can join. The best areas for the production of grapes have been identified in the Cembra Valley, in the high hills of Pressano Sorni and, in the hills above the town of Trento, in the area of Meano Cortesano, in Valsugana and finally the hills of Besagno. Soils and microclimates provide that diversity necessary to the preparation of the cuvée draw that will give life to the great vintages.
