The vineyards on the hills of Strongoli, province of Crotone, citrus groves and ancient olive groves are the setting in which there is Roberto Ceraudo properties, ruler of a thriving country that has come back to life thanks to his convinced principles of organic farming. The winery is one of the productive excellence of Calabria region, and develops a few kilometers from the sea, between hills just mentioned from which you can see the blue line of sea. Here the rows playing "La Vie en Rose" because of the rose bushes planted in the vineyards, to enhance the mild infection and prevent pests. Every choice made is aimed at the constant research for quality in the processing of the product,of the soil, and with the use of modern technologies as well as with expert advice of the oenologist and teacher Fabrizio Ciuffoli. In the higher bands there were planted white grape varieties that have proven to give their best, Chardonnay, White and Greek Mantonico, Pecorello. Just below there were accommodated Gaglioppo, native grape, and Cabernet Sauvignon, while an experiment is in place on other native vines, including Magliocco, on newly purchased soils. The exposure of the vines towards the sea, the texture of the soil and its micro-climate, has allowed to have persistent and fresh wine aromas. The sun, the fruit, the flowers excel in taste-olfactory character of the wines produced.
