Bisson wines come in 1978 when Pierluigi Lugano, art teacher and sommelier, aware of the potential sensed be hidden in the harsh wine of the Ligurian farmers, decides to groped the "adventure" of exploitation of the Riviera del Levante grapes. The excellent results obtained, allowed to "revive" these native Ligurian wines that were now virtually disappeared, such as the "Bianchetta Genovese" and "Ciliegiolo" and create new insights as "Musaico", with a strong red wine personality. After several years of making wine from purchased grapes, they decide to plant vines on their own, in order to achieve full control of the quality process of their wines, carrying out a crop to "severe restriction of pesticides" in its own vineyards, a guarantee of quality and authenticity.
Pierluigi Lugano in 2009, has initiated a project to produce a classic method sparkling wine ever made before. The environmental conditions for this type of sparkling wine, require special temperature and light (caves and underground tunnels). "Looking around and thinking of ancient wrecks of galleons under the sea, which have repeatedly returned food products (wine) well preserved by the organoleptic characteristics intact ... Combining my passion for wine and sea, I thought that ideal environment could be just the seabed. Depth 60 meters, constant temperature + 15 °, twilight, back pressure and a series of favorable factors to achieve this ideal context the most exclusive champagne!
