Propriétaire-Récoltant a Epernay - Montaigne de Reims - Côte des Blancs

Bottles annually produced: 70.000
A very young Maison, founded in 2000 by Xavier Gonet and his wife Julie Médeville, it owns 12 hectares divided into 3 municipalities in Grand Cru, between Mesnil Sur-Oger, Oger and Ambonnay and in 5 other municipalities all classified 1er cru. Little -Manipulant, Gonet-Médeville is among the rising stars of Champagne, with low-dose wines (6 gr/lt for the Blanc de Noirs, 3 gr/lt for the Rosé and only 2 for the Grand Cru) and very single "terroirs". In some vintage it is also produced a Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru mono parcel in Les Mesnil, the Champs d'Alouette, which in other vintages, with the addition of the Pinot Noir of Ambonnay, the Grande Ruelle, becomes the Cuvée Theophile. Fine and elegant wines, where the small nuances of the individual villages are well marked, especially after a few years of staying on the lees. Of great interest is the Cuvée Athénais where the pinot nero of Ambonnay is confirmed as one of the best terroirs of the Montagne de Reims.
